Ryan Reynolds has opened up his home life with wife Blake Lively and their four children.
The “Deadpool & Wolverine” star, who shares daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, as well as 1-year-old son Olin with the “Gossip Girl” alum, says the pair are soaking up their current family set-up as much as possible.
“Embrace the chaos,” Reynolds, 47, said on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, adding that while there’s a constant mess in the house, they are aware that will end once the kids “all leave the house.”
According to Reynolds, his wife “always says, ‘They’re all under our roof right now. The whole family’s under our roof right now. We have them all.’ And that is a fleeting thing. Not an infinite resource, you know?”
Still, the “Proposal” actor and the “It Ends With Us” star, who tied the knot in September 2012, are always grateful for the life they’ve built together.
“It does get to you,” he said of parenting. “And it’s okay to be like, ‘f–k, I am dying.’ Because that’s gonna happen every other day.”
Elsewhere, Reynolds revealed that some of their four kids are unable to go to sleep unless they’re in our bed.”
“I would love to spread out and fall asleep normally again,” he quipped. “Just say, ‘Think about what you would give in 40 years or 30 years to come back and enjoy this one moment.’”
It comes as Reynolds last week revealed the unique name and gender of his and Lively’s fourth child.
Reynolds, 47, revealed his youngest child’s unusual Nordic moniker while speaking to the crowd ahead of the “Deadpool & Wolverine” premiere at the David H. Koch Theater in New York City.
“I want to start by saying thank you to my wife, Blake, who is here,” he said onstage. “I want to thank my kids, James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing — that is, the contents of this movie — that happens in your wondrous life.”
“I love that my entire family is here,” he added.
The “Red Notice” actor and Lively seemingly confirmed the arrival of their fourth bundle of joy in February 2023.
At the time, the “Age of Adaline” actress sported a blossoming 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 bump in a series of photos shared on social media.
