Serena Williams’ husband reflects on being remembered by daughters Olympia and Adira, discusses legacy beyond his Reddit fame

Serena Williams’ husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian recently reflected on his legacy, opening up about his contentment with only being remembered by their daughters Olympia and Adira. Ohanian also shed light on the trajectory of his career since resigning from Reddit.

In a heartwarming gesture, Williams and Ohanian recently supported their elder daughter Olympia’s passion for ballet by volunteering to take part in her dance troupe’s performance of ‘The Nutcracker.’ The couple happily missed the star-studded Las Vegas Grand Prix to create a “core memory” for their daughter.

Alexis Ohanian later incorporated Olympia’s love for ballet into his pancake art tradition for his daughters, adorably recreating the seven-year-old striking a pose in her tutu. He also showed off a pancake with his younger daughter Adira’s name on it, poking fun at himself for writing the ‘R’ backward.

The 41-year-old candidly revealed that his professional success truly began after he resigned from the Reddit board in 2020. Ohanian emphasized that he would feel fulfilled if his legacy amounted to his children remembering him for his pancakes.

“💪 My career really took off once I left reddit and if my kids are the only people who remember me for anything – and it’s my pancakes – that’s a major W,” he posted.

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian recently opened up about how resigning from Reddit reshaped his approach to business. He disclosed that his decision to step down was influenced by disagreements with the board over his push to ban hate speech and violence on the platform, leading him to adopt a policy of not including a board in any of his subsequent ventures.

“Grateful” – Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian relishes quality time with daughter Olympia during campfire night with family

After taking part in their daughter Olympia’s ballet recital, Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian took to social media and shared a glimpse of a memorable evening spent with family around a cozy bonfire in Florida.

Ohanian enjoyed spending his time teaching Olympia the art of toasting the “perfect” marshmallow, while Alicia Keys’ music created the ideal ambiance.

“Sitting with the family around a fire on a cool Florida evening, making sure Jr. Knows how to toast the perfect marshmallow. 🥹 Grateful for these nights. Ambiance provided by immaculate @aliciakeys on my OB-4 @teenageengineering,” Ohanian wrote.
