Angel Reese has been making the most of her free time in the offseason. After going around the world in the past few months, Reese spent her time in Dubai enjoying the desert and wearing local garments as she immersed herself in the city’s culture.
In a series of Instagram stories on Sunday, Reese displayed her caftan-clad look for the trip in the often-hot temperature of Dubai. Here are some of her snaps:

The Chicago Sky forward flew to the United Arab Emirates for the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix, where she met with different celebrities such as comedian Terry Crews and actress Taraji P. Henson. She also witnessed F1 star Lewis Hamilton race for the Mercedes, before his highly anticipated debut with Ferrari next year.
Reese has been all over the world since the WNBA season, where she broke numerous rookie records on her way to finishing as runner-up for the Rookie of the Year award behind Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Angel Reese finished her rookie year averaging a double-double of 13.6 points, and 13.1 rebounds. However, it came to an early end, as she had to undergo a season-ending surgery for her injured wrist, ending the season with just 34 games under her belt.
Angel Reese will return to basketball action in the new Unrivaled tournament
Angel Reese will be one of the stars in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled Tournament. The new league will showcase 30 WNBA players in a three-on-three basketball format.
Reese signed up for the Rose BC team, with her teammates being fellow WNBA stars Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Lexie Hull, Brittney Sykes and Azurá Stevens.
Reese explained why she chose to spend a chunk of her offseason in the new three-on-three basketball league in an interview with TheWAEShow.
“I don’t have to go overseas.,” Angel Reese said. “I’m making six figures, I’m living in Miami during my off-season. I’m playing 34 of some of the best WNBA players, being able to get better. Some of the best coaches, we got T-Spoon, we got Phil, we’ve got a lot of great coaches there.
“I’m excited to like really dial in and get better. Obviously, the games are going to be cool and fun, but I just want to learn from the vets and stuff.”
The Unrivaled League was co-founded by WNBA players Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. The league guaranteed a $250,000 payout for the tournament.
The games will happen in Miami, Florida, and will go on for eight weeks, just in time for the players to get ready for training camp for the 2025 WNBA season.
