Ciara Acknowledges Relationship Challenges with Three Breakups and Discusses the Importance of Faith in Her Marriage to Russell Wilson.

Being an adult is tough. But being in love is hard on another level. And trying to juggle relationships with adulting can get pretty messy. But hey, it’s something everyone goes through, right? We humans are complicated. R&B and hip-hop artist, and Russell Wilson’s wife Ciara opened up about her experiences with relationships. Honestly, we could all learn a thing or two from her on how to handle love and relationships.

Today, Ciara and Russ come across as one of the power couples of the NFL. Ciara chatted with fellow R&B singer Summer Walker on Over It Radio, where she got real about her past relationships and shared some thoughts on her marriage to NFL star QB. She remarked, A big part of it speaking life manifestation is real, praying is real, I know I say and I think sometimes it sounds like this kind of lofty idea for some but the power of prayer is like a real thing for my life.”

Before meeting the NFL star, Ciara was in a relationship with rapper Future. The couple were briefly engaged for a year before calling it quits in 2014. The ‘Mask Off’ rapper also shares a son with her, named Future Zahir. Before him, Ciara also dated former NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire.

“I had my years of experimenting whatever you want to call it you know um some failures you know but at the same time I’m grateful though because I do believe that going on my journey that I went on prepared me for where life has taken me,” shared the 39-year-old while talking about her past relationships.

She also dated rapper and actor Bow Wow in the early 2000s. Both Ciara and Bow Wow were teens at that time, so the relationship didn’t last long. Well, that’s all in the past now. What kept her strong in this relationship, Ciara shared that as well.

Ciara admits that praying is her philosophy for dealing with things

Like everyone else on this planet, Ciara’s had her fair share of relationship failures and heartbreaks. You know how they say you’ve got to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince? Well, in 2015, Ciara found hers. Now, married to Russell Wilson for over eight years, calls it all ‘God’s plan. “You know God is the greatest orchestrator of all times and you know we plan and God laughs they say that um but I do believe in the power of manifestation I believe in the power of speaking life into yourself,” said the ‘Goodies’ songstress.

After meeting in 2015, Wilson locked things down with a ring in 2016. The couple had a fairytale wedding at Peckforton Castle that same year. Since then, they’ve been inseparable, like peanut butter and jelly. Then, in April of the following year, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter. “I do believe in speaking negative things into your life and positive things into your life and for me I can honestly say I spoke my husband into my life but I was also ready for him to be in my life,” added Ciara. The ‘Paint It Black’ songstress also opened up about her relationship failures before marrying Wilson.

Right now, the ‘Body Party’ singer is living her best life with her husband, Russell Wilson. They’ve got three kids together, and Russell’s even proudly adopted her son, Future Zahir.
