Serena Williams lovingly embraced her husband Alexis Ohanian in a sweet snap that was shared on her Instagram account on Tuesday.

In the photo, the tennis super star’s spouse affectionately planted a kiss on her forehead as they made the most of a sunny day.

The 41-year-old retired athlete, who was recently surprised with an unexpected 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 shower, also wrote a short message in her post’s caption that read: ‘Gotta love date night.’

Williams paired a sheer black long-sleeve top, which clung tightly to her growing 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 bump, with a a form-hugging black maxi skirt as she spent time with her husband.

The Olympian added a bit of extra texture to her look with a pair of tri-tone Nike athletic sneakers.

Her gorgeous light brunette hair had been tied into several braids, which fell down her back while she posed for the photo.

Ohanian, 40, kept it casual in a black t-shirt that was paired with matching shorts and shoes as he enjoyed his wife’s company.

Williams is currently preparing for the birth of her second 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 girl, and she revealed the gender of her soon-to-arrive daughter alongside her husband at a party that was held earlier this month.

The tennis player and her spouse first met when they ran into each other at a hotel in Rome in May of 2015, and they began dating not long afterward.

The pair went on to become engaged in December of 2016, and they welcomed a daughter named Alexis, six, the following September.

The two subsequently tied the knot during a star-studded wedding ceremony that took place in New Orleans that November.

Williams announced that she had become pregnant for the second time just before the Met Gala this past May.

The retired professional tennis player has not revealed the name of her soon-to-arrive child as of yet.

The former athlete spoke about motherhood during an interview with Vogue, where she expressed that she did not see herself as a parent during her younger years.

‘Earlier in my career, I never thought about having kids. There were times when I’ve wondered if I should ever bring kids into this world, with all its problems. I was never that confident or comfortable around babies or children,’ she said.

Williams then expressed that she had since learned to embrace parenthood and remarked that she had become particularly attached to her daughter.

‘The fact is that nothing is a sacrifice for me when it comes to Olympia. It all just makes sense,’ she said
