Channing Crowder gave his opinion on Russell and Ciara Wilson’s marriage
A former NFL player recently claimed on a podcast that Ciara Wilson is only with Russell Wilson for the money.
Channing Crowder, a former Miami Dolphins linebacker, recently stirred up drama with his controversial opinion on Russell Wilson and Ciara‘s marriage.
“She’s got a good situation… but he’s a square.”
Crowder claims the only reason Ciara is with Wilson is because he’s rich.
She later not only insults their relationship, suggesting that Wilson “is a bore”.
DK Metcalf, to the rescue of his former QB
Crowder drew a lot of attention with his comments, especially from Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, who has a strong relationship with his former QB Wilson, who as of 2022 will play for the Denver Broncos.
“People call him square, that’s fine, if it’s dumb to be a square, I’ll be a square,” Metcalf said on Twitter.
“It’s like saying you’re boring for treating your wife right.”

Metcalf continued to support Wilson and said people were “jealous” of their perfect relationship.
Ciara Wilson, who is a singer, model and actress, has a net worth of $20 million, so she hasn’t done badly. Russell Wilson has a net worth of $165 million.
Crowder apologises, but doesn’t retract his comment about Russell Wilson
While Crowder retracted his comments about Ciara and Wilson‘s family, he didn’t hold back against Wilson.
“Have you seen Russell’s videos?” asked Crowder. “Have you seen, ‘Mr. Unlimited’?! And this dumb shit he’s doing?!
“I don’t know why so many people were mad at my opinion that Russell Wilson is a square and a bore.”
Crowder is a former NFL linebacker who was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 2005 NFL Draft.
He decided to leave the NFL in 2011 and surprisingly retired, and is hardly remembered in the gridiron world.
