Serena Williams enjoys family day out with husband Alexis Ohanian and daughter Olympia as they explore The Parthenon in Athens

Serena Williams enjoyed a family vacation to Greece with her husband Alexis Ohanian and their daughter Olympia, four, on Thursday.

The tennis star, 40, took to Instagram and shared snaps of the trio exploring The Parthenon in Athens.

The athlete cut a casual figure for the outing as she donned a black sleeveless mini dresss with a leg split.

Serena also sported a pair of white trainers and sunglasses while she let her locks fall loose down her shoulders

Internet entrepreneur Alexis, 39, also went for a laid back look as he sported a white T-shirt and black shorts.

Alexis cradled Olympia in his arms as the family explored the former temple which is considered the most important surviving building of Classical Greece.

Alongside the post, Serena wrote: ‘Just the 3 of us’.

It comes after Serena enjoyed the sights in London as she enjoyed afternoon tea with her daughter last week.

Sharing snaps with her Instagram followers, the mother-daughter duo appeared picture-perfect as they posed for a sweet snap – captioning ‘Pinkies up’.

Olympia beamed for the camera in a floaty pink dress for the picture, holding onto a takeaway box from the high tea.

While Serena sat beside her daughter in a striped maxi-dress with a sleeveless design and thigh-grazing slit.

Sharing a video of the afternoon tea, Serena showed fans the spread of foods – which included cucumber and egg sandwiches, scones, salmon blinis, cupcakes, macarons and champagne.

Talking over the video, the sports star said: ‘High tea in England, lovely crumpets and biscuits and jam and butter and – oh cucumber sandwiches, yay!’

While the post also featured an adorable video of Olympia chanting for her mother in the back seat of a car, shouting ‘Serena, Serena’.

Michigan native Serena captioned the post: ‘ @olympiaohanian loves her afternoon tea and cheering for mama. #PinkiesUp’.
