Diddy is reportedly “kind” to his fellow inmates while awaiting trial behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center – so says fellow celebrity inmate, Sam Bankman-Fried.
Bankman-Fried is serving a 25-year sentence for crypto fraud, and appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show this week via video chat to talk about the experience.
When asked about Diddy, who’s housed in the same unit, he said: “I’ve only seen one piece of him, which is Diddy in prison, and he’s been kind to people in the unit; he’s been kind to me.”
He continued: “It’s also — it’s a position no one wants to be in. As he said, its’ kind of soul-crushing place for the world in general and what we see are just the people that are around us on the inside.”

In related news, Diddy is facing fresh allegations in a second superseding indictment in his 𝓈ℯ𝓍 trafficking and racketeering case.
The superseding indictment, unsealed on Thursday (March 6), does not include fresh charges but claims the Bad Boy boss forced employees to work long hours with little sleep under the threat of physical and reputational harm.
He is also accused of forcing at least one employee to engage in 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual acts with him.
The filing claims Diddy “caused these employees to believe they would be harmed — including by losing their jobs — if they did not comply with his demands.”
It continues: “With respect to one employee, Combs used physical force, psychological harm, financial harm and reputational harm, and /or threats of the same to cause the employee to engage in 𝓈ℯ𝓍 acts with Combs.”
Diddy is currently scheduled to be arraigned on the indictment on March 14, with prosecutors not expecting the additional allegations to affect his May 5 trial start date.
In a statement, the mogul’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo said: “Mr. Combs has said it before and will say it again: he vehemently denies the accusations made by the SDNY [Southern District of New York]. He looks forward to his day in court when it will become clear that he has never forced anyone to engage in 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual acts against their will.”
Agnifilo also stated that many of Diddy’s past and present employees “stand by his side, prepared to attest to the dedication, hard work and inspiration they experienced while helping build groundbreaking, award-winning businesses.”
