Anna Kendrick doesn’t have time for drama, especially involving Blake Lively, the feud rumors, and the It Ends With Us drama surrounding her; and her chilly responses tell the tale.

On March 7, Entertainment Tonight shared a video of them interviewing Kendrick at SXSW. They shared the video to X, the app formerly known as Twitter, with the caption reading, “Anna Kendrick arrives to the premiere of ‘Another Simple Favor’ at SXSW.”

As you can see in the video, the interviewer asked the Alice, Darling star, “What does it mean to be working with Blake again?” And Kendrick responds, walking away and smiling, “Oh, you know!” And this three-word response has fans going wild, with some calling it shady or dismissive. Plus, this isn’t the first recent incident of her swerving questions about Lively.

Per People, a Variety reporter asked her at the same event: “How does it feel like the movie is being impacted kind of by everything happening around going on in the world?”

Kendrick looked puzzled and replied, “Why, what happened?”

She added, “I did Ayahuasca and the last year of my life is just gone, but I’ve heard the movie is amazing.”

Okay, so here’s a recap: ever since the first A Simple Favor came out in 2018, there have been rumors of a rift between Kendrick and Lively. However, recently, a source revealed to People that there “really is no drama or rift” between the two, especially now that the sequel, Another Simple Favor is coming out.

However, the drama surrounding this, plus Lively’s legal drama with It Ends With Us, have allegedly upset Kendrick in another way. Apparently, Kendrick isn’t too happy about being caught up in the drama, especially with it potentially overshadowing the long-awaited sequel.

Another source told the outlet Kendrick is “not used to being caught up in any drama. The comments on Instagram have upset her, especially the ones saying fans are now refusing to watch the movie because they don’t want to support Blake.”
