Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency releases second statement regarding late actress Kim Sae Ron’s case

On March 15th, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, issued a second statement in response to the recent coverage related to the late Kim Sae Ron, following a report on the YouTube channel of Garoseyo Research Institute (HOVERLAB) on March 14th.

The agency clarified that the photos published by HOVERLAB were taken on December 14, 2019, and they provided two images to support this claim. They emphasized that there is no justification for the indiscriminate release of private photos involving Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress. The statement also urged HOVERLAB to cease the spread of personal information and private matters, calling for the protection of individual privacy.

In addition, the agency acknowledged the heartbreaking pain experienced by Kim Sae Ron’s mother after her daughter’s passing, stating, “No words can fully comfort her in such immense grief.” They also expressed their sorrow for the hardships Kim Sae Ron had to endure. The statement further expressed understanding and sympathy with the mother’s concerns about various media reports surrounding the late actress, as well as the harm caused to Kim Soo Hyun by HOVERLAB’s reports.

However, the agency pointed out that there were some differences in perspective between them and Kim Sae Ron’s mother regarding certain claims. They suggested that there may be information that the mother has not yet been made aware of, and emphasized that publicly debating these issues would not be appropriate in light of the efforts made by the mother and the late actress to restore her reputation.

In closing, the agency expressed a desire to meet with Kim Sae Ron‘s mother and provide thorough explanations. They kindly requested that the mother contact the Gold Medalist office at any time for further discussions.

Full Statement from Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency

“Hello, this is Gold Medalist.

We would like to address the coverage aired on March 14th by HOVERLAB‘s YouTube channel.

The photos released by HOVERLAB were taken on December 14, 2019. There is no reason for the private photos of Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron to be indiscriminately published. We ask that you cease the dissemination of personal privacy.

We have also confirmed the statement from Kim Sae Ron’s mother, which was aired on the same broadcast. After the loss of Kim Sae Ron, her mother is experiencing indescribable pain, and no words can truly console her. We deeply feel sorrow for the pain that the late Kim Sae Ron had to endure.

We fully empathize with the concerns Kim Sae Ron’s mother has expressed regarding the media’s treatment of the deceased. Kim Soo Hyun, as noted in our previous statement, has also been harmed by the reports from HOVERLAB.

However, we believe there are some differences in perspective between us and the claims made by Kim Sae Ron’s mother. There may be details that she has not yet been made aware of. We believe that publicly debating these matters would not be appropriate for either the late Kim Sae Ron or her mother, who have been trying to restore her reputation. Our management team is willing to meet with Kim Sae Ron’s mother and provide sufficient explanations. We would appreciate it if she could contact the Gold Medalist office at any time.”
