Mary J. Blige performs classic hits in the rain during Honeyland Festival

There was no hateration while Mary J. Blige was on the stage.

The nine-time Grammy award-winning singer took the stage on Day 2 of the inaugural Honeyland Festival in Sugar Land, Texas, on Sunday to deliver an epic performance in front of a crowd that stood in the rain all day.

Blige, 52, kicked off her headlining set with a performance of her 1991 hit “You Remind Me.”

The “Power Book II: Ghost” actress also sang a medley of her other hits, including “Real Love,” “I’m Goin’ Down,” “Not Gon’ Cry” and many more.

During her performance of “Mary Jane (All Night Long),” Blige — who stunned in a black and silver corset body suit and thigh-high patent leather black boots — got the crowd going with her signature “Mary Bop.”

In July, Blige was announced as a headliner for the two-day festival, which showcased the “best in black expression across food, spirits, music and art.”

Coco Jones, Summer Walker, Tems, Miguel, Chlöe Bailey and many more also took the stage during the Honeyland Festival.

Jazmine Sullivan was also slated to perform but she pulled out of the festival and was replaced by Walker.

Just days before Blige’s performance, she attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, where she was honored alongside Quinta Brunson, Millie Bobby Brown, Selma Blair and more.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, who wore a jade-colored low-cut sequin halter dress designed by Pamella Roland, gave sound advice to young people.

“The advice I would give is just accept all of you,” she reportedly said last week. “You may not like all of you, but love all of you; you may not like your personality here or there, but you’re all you have.

“So accept and embrace everything about you — good, bad, ugly, whatever it is, it’s you.”
