Adele is enjoying her newfound sobriety.
The “Hello” singer confessed that she recently gave up alcohol after seeing audience members drinking “a pint” of whiskey sour at her Las Vegas residency show on Friday.
“I stopped drinking … maybe, like, three and a half months ago,” she told concertgoers in a video shared on Twitter.
“It’s boring. I mean, oh my God, it’s boring. I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my 20s, but I miss it so much. I cut out caffeine [too].
“So, enjoy your whiskey sour. I’m very, very jealous,” she added.
Adele, 35, previously addressed her relationship with alcohol during a performance in March as she detailed her drinking habits during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I remember when I came here in COVID, in lockdown. It was 11 a.m., and I was definitely, like, four bottles of wine in — like we all were,” she revealed, according to the Evening Standard. “I said in 2020 that I wanted to put my album out. And we were all at home just drunk basically.”
The Grammy winner previously spoke about her “close relationship” with alcohol in an October 2021 interview with Vogue, saying, “I was always very fascinated by alcohol. It’s what kept my dad from me. So I always wanted to know what was so great about it.”
Despite giving up booze, Adele further told audience members on Friday that she is planning a week of partying to celebrate her son Angelo’s 11th birthday this Thursday.
During one of her Las Vegas residency shows, she told the crowd that she “stopped drinking … three and a half months ago.”
“I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my 20s, but I miss it so much,” she said.
The “Rolling in the Deep” singer previously addressed her relationship with alcohol during a performance in March and in an October 2021 interview with Vogue.
“This week my son turns 11 years old,” she said of her only child, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki. “Can you believe that? We have got a busy week coming celebrating him. He is very much like me because I take my birthday very seriously.
“So, it is a whole week or a month celebration, which I think everyone should treat their birthday like,” the “Rolling in the Deep” singer, who may be engaged to her boyfriend, Rich Paul, continued.
“From a very young age, he seems to have adopted the same point of view, which isn’t quite as fun. He is my son, and obviously I adore him, and he is like, ‘Can I do this and do that?’

Adele is reported to be engaged to lover Rich Paul.
“I’m like, ‘That’s really pricey. You are eleven. Shouldn’t we still be having a tea party? But, you know, 11-year-olds in 2023 are almost 25,” she continued.
“He is more sophisticated in every manner than I ever was or will be. That’s my week, so I assume my next update will be about being a bullied mother!”
Adele’s residency, “Weekends with Adele,” began on November 18, 2022 and is set to finish on November 4, 2023.
