Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been praised by fans after Save the Children shared a video of the couple’s meeting with the charity.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined forces with Save the Children during their visit to Nigeria, with the Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 paying a special tribute to their wedding day. The pair were in the African nation to champion the Invictus Games and participated in several charitable endeavours while there.

It has now emerged that the Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍es met with Nigerian charity workers from Save the Children, with the organisation posting a video of the encounter on Instagram.

The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 were all smiles as they were introduced to young ambassadors. Meghan was spotted wearing an elegant white halter neck top, reminiscent of her wedding reception attire.

On her wedding day, Meghan donned a simple white Givenchy dress before changing into a custom Stella McCartney gown for the evening reception. She chose a similar ensemble for her meeting with Save the Children, opting for a sleeveless white top.

The Duchess completed her outfit with relaxed grey trousers and striking gold earrings. Meanwhile, Prince Harry appeared at ease in a smart blue shirt with the top button undone, reports the Mirror.

Save the Children posted a video of the Royal couple’s visit on social media, expressing their gratitude: “Thank you Prince Harry and Meghan for joining us in Nigeria to learn more about how we ensure children don’t just survive but thrive.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 met our Youth Ambassadors Maryam and Purity, who are tireless advocates for children’s rights and the beating heart of our work.

“Children in Nigeria face huge challenges: One in ten dies before they reach the age of five. Three in ten girls are married before the age of 18.

“Nigeria also has one of the highest rates of unimmunised children. But young people are working hard alongside Save the Children to fight for a better future.”
