Madonna recently introduced her controversially young boy toy Joshua Popper to her oldest son Rocco Ritchie during her recent 65th family birthday celebration in Lisbon

Queen of pop Madonna was introduced her new hunky boxer boyfriend 29-year-old Joshua Popper to her eldest son 23-year-old Rocco Ritchie with a slim age difference of just six years.

Madonna’s new boy toy finally got the chance to meet her son as the Material Girl reeled in her 65th birthday last week during a beautiful celebratory getaway in Lisbon. Madonna’s whole family came out to celebrate the exciting milestone including her other children 26-year-old Lourdes, 17-year-old David Banda, 17-year-old Mercy James, and her 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

Madonna’s romance with Joshua first sparked earlier this year when she met the professional boxing coach while he was teaching the ropes to her teenage son David at his boxing studio in New York City. Joshua hard launched their new whirlwind romance first after posting an adorable snap alongside Madonna as she held onto his arm while nestled her face in his shoulder. The Hung Up singer confirmed the pair were dating in March when she posted a snap of the pair in ski masks kissing with the caption: “Killers who are partying.”

The lovebirds have been inseparable with Joshua lending a helping hand to the pop superstar as she was recovering from a severe bacterial infection at the end of June following a trip to the ICU. Despite their controversial age difference of 36 years, insiders close to the star say Joshua has been a very supportive partner and was instrumental in Madonna’s recovery by raise her sprits and helping her regain her strength. Neither Madonna nor Joshua have publicly commented on their relationship.

In a 2012 interview with ABC News Madonna was questioned why she dates men that are younger than her to which she responded: “I didn’t choose to, you know, I didn’t, like, write down on a piece of paper, ‘I’m now going to have a relationship with a younger man’. That’s just what happened. You see, that’s the romantic in me. I just met someone that I cared for, and this happened to be his age.”

Before Joshua, Madonna was married to Mystic River star Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989 and filmmaker Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008. The famous singer also had a three-year-long relationship with 29-year-old dancer Ahlamalik Williams whom she split from in April of 2022.
