Even as his marriage to Brittany Cartwright has hit the rocks, Jax Taylor‘s new fling is keeping her sense of humor intact.
Model Paige Woolen jokingly announced a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 on the way with Taylor, 44, as they attended a recent birthday party for his former Vanderpump Rules costar Ariana Madix’s brother Jeremy.
‘And I’m pregnant!’ yelled Paige, 32, after Jeremy blew out his candles in video of the event.
Jax and Paige previously had a three-hour lunch date on Sunday at Granville Cafe after they reportedly went out to a bar together the night before.
Jax’s estranged wife Brittany, 35, previously revealed the tensions between the two when she told Us Weekly last month that they would both ‘be upset’ if they saw each other dating others, and she revealed that they had discussed opening up their marriage ‘here and there.’

Taylor’s weekend outing came as Cartwright alluded to ‘what I’ve been through behind closed doors’ on her Instagram Story
Jax’s weekend outing came as Brittany shared a reel to her Instagram Story in which a fan criticized how her estranged husband treats her on the show.
‘Thank you,’ she wrote with the clip. ‘And just imagine what I’ve been through behind closed doors.’
In February, the two announced on their When Reality Hits podcast that they are ‘taking time apart‘ after four years of marriage.
They former couple tied the knot in Versailles, Kentucky, back in June 2019, and they share their three-year-old son Cruz.
Brittany added that she ‘made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.’
‘I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz,’ she said.
The couple’s new Vanderpump Rules spin-off The Valley continued filming season one in March to ‘capture the aftermath‘ of their breakup months after wrapping.
The reality series has since been renewed for a second season.
Since their separation, Cartwright has cited a number of issues that complicated their relationship, including her becoming the primary breadwinner, their desire for another 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 and problems in the bedroom.
Last month, she explained to DailyMail.com that the split became a matter of ‘taking up for myself.’
‘Having a child really woke me up and lifted a veil a little bit of what I deserve and what I am going to put up with for the rest of my life,’ she she explained. ‘It wasn’t because we were on a TV show. It was just because of the way we were interacting with each other time after time after time.’

Brittany added, ‘And I just knew that I had to … figure out what I want to do for my future and make things a super positive living situation for my son. That’s all that I care about.’
In March, she told DailyMail.com that she still has feelings for Jax and is trying to ‘figure out‘ if she wants to reconcile.
‘I feel like I see Jax across the room and I’m like, “He looks so handsome,”‘ she explained. ‘I still love him very much. It’s a hard time, right? It’s still fresh, so yeah, it’s still fresh.’
