In a recent show, Nick Jonas finally reacted to the nicknames that he received from the ‘desi’ paps at the NMACC launch event.

One of the cutest couples, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, never fails to set goals for their fans. The made-for-each-other couple always paints the town red and makes everyone crave the same camaraderie. However, the jodi recently had a tour of India. They also graced the pink carpet of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre launch event. As they were posing the paps started addressing Nick as jeeju, which undoubtedly made a ROFL moment on the internet. However, Nick Jonas has finally reacted to the incident.

Nick Jonas recently appeared on BBC Asian Network Breakfast Show, where the host asked him if the latter could call the former jeeju. To such a query, Nick laughed and replied adorably by saying ‘sure’. After that, the host added that a lot of people called Nick with such names. To this, Nick recalled his and PeeCee’s visit to India during the launch event of NMACC. He added that the event was great and recalled how all the paps called him jeeju. Nick said:

“We were just in Mumbai recently for the cultural centre the Ambanis opened and it was a great event. All the photographers on the red carpet were calling me ‘jiju’.”

After that, the host of the same international show played an audio from the NMACC launch event and added that the paps were calling him some other names also. For the unversed, the paps called Nick, ‘Nickwaa’ at the NMACC launch event. However, Nick said that he heard that and added he loves India. The singer went on to say that it felt good to be back in India, and he came here after a few years, so it was a fun trip. Nick also added that he loved all the nicknames he received here. Nick stated:

“I did hear that. It was very good to be back. I love India. It’s been a couple of years because of Covid since I was there. So, this was a fun trip. Great to hear all the nicknames that I have now.”

On the second day of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre launch event, Priyanka Chopra and her doting hubby graced the pink carpet. Undoubtedly, the duo turned all the heads with their stylish appearance and mushy camaraderie. However, when they were posing mushily for the camera, the Indian paps started calling Nick in their desi style. They could be heard calling Nick ‘Nikwa’. Soon after that, when Nick let PeeCee go ahead to click pictures, paps made a hilarious remark that left everyone in splits as they said:

“Jija Ji sharma gaye.”

Not only at the NMACC launch event, paps addressed Nick as Jijaji, but it was at the post-wedding function of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas on December 20, 2018, when paps addressed the latter with such a nickname and left the then-newly-married couple giggling and blushing hard.
