Mo’Nique doesn’t hold back, continues to verbally attack Oprah Winfrey

In a recent stand-up show, Mo’Nique, the acclaimed comedian and actress, didn’t hold back her feelings towards media mogul Oprah Winfrey, chanting to her audience, “f-k Oprah Winfrey.”

Mo’Nique’s accusations against Oprah

With no minced words, she labeled Winfrey as a “raggedy bitch,” emphasizing her love for the TV icon, but making it clear she won’t apologize for her words.

“I love that black raggedy bitch,” she ranted in a video circulating online.

“I love that black simple-minded motherf-ker. I love Oprah Winfrey’s black ass and we just need to bring her back to black.”

Mo’Nique’s tirade didn’t stop there.

She brought up speculations about Winfrey’s relationship with Gayle King, insinuating a romantic connection between the two.

In her words, “We ain’t seen Stedman in 30 motherfucking years… Who is loving Oprah and Gayle King? Each other!”

She continued, asserting her refusal to be intimidated by Winfrey, stating, “I’m too motherfucking old to be scared of this bitch. I’m too motherfucking old to be intimidated by this bitch. I’m too old to hold the motherfucking truth.”

What’s the feud between Mo’Nique and Oprah?

This verbal sparring is just another chapter in the ongoing saga between Mo’Nique and Winfrey.

Mo’Nique has been vocal about feeling betrayed by Winfrey, particularly regarding her handling of personal matters on her talk show.

Furthermore, she accuses Winfrey and Tyler Perry of blackballing her from Hollywood, stemming from her refusal to partake in unpaid promotion for the film “Precious,” which they produced.

Mo’Nique’s recent remarks come amidst the comparison of her career trajectory to that of Melissa McCarthy’s, highlighting disparities in opportunities between white and black actresses in Hollywood.

“If I was a white woman, do you know what my name would be? Melissa McCarthy,”Mo’Nique told host Shannon Sharpe.

“If I was a white woman, my name would be Melissa McCarthy. Same track record! Five-year sitcom in syndication. The opportunities are not the same.”

Despite her accolades, including an Academy Award for her role in “Precious,” Mo’Nique feels she hasn’t received the same opportunities as her white counterparts.
