Anthony Joshua’s message of “ruin dreams” reveals his true colors.

Former heavyweight champion Joshua has won four consecutive fights and demonstrated sympathy for his prior opponents by disclosing the toughest part of his job.

Anthony Joshua showed his class a ‘ruin dreams’ remark about his boxing opponents.

Joshua, a former two-time heavyweight world champion, is now in good form, having won his last four fights. ‘AJ’ is preparing for his UK return in September and is expected to battle Daniel Dubois after the Brit stopped Fili.

Anthony Joshua is a boyhood Watford fan.

Joshua is no pushover in the ring but showed his soft side by tweeting: “The hardest part about my job is realising you have to ruin someone else’s dream to achieve yours.” Fans were split in their response to Joshua as one user wrote back: “At least both the winner and the loser get paid, I think its a win-win.”

“Someone ruined yours though… but you never gave up,” a second reply read. “Every game has two parties and there will always be a winner and loser,” a final user added. Joshua could have faced Deontay Wilder in his next fight if the American won last weekend, but he was brutally KO’d by Zhilei Zhang in what could be his final fight.

“Come again if you want, but he’s got his family and there’s a life outside of boxing for him. I enjoy fighting in London, I enjoy fighting out here [Saudi Arabia], I enjoy fighting in America. It’s a blessing, and it doesn’t last forever. That’s why I say it with Wilder if he wants to go again, give it another crack. But sooner or later, father time will catch up with you,” Joshua said.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn had a disastrous Saturday night at the office as Matchroom was whitewashed 10-0 by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions in Riyadh. Hearn compared the position Wilder finds himself into where Joshua found himself after losing consecutive fights to Oleksandr Usyk.

“AJ went through a little bit of that at one stage, they used to be petrified of AJ, now they’re petrified again. For me, it’s a personal decision for Deontay. He tried, tried to convince himself, tried in the ring… but just couldn’t do it. I just wonder whether he’s the same fighter that he was,” Hearn said.
