Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas enjoyed a low-key date night on Sunday ahead of attending this year’s Met Gala.
The actress, 40, and the musician, 30, held hands as they left the Carlyle Hotel in New York a day before the glittering annual fundraiser, widely regarded as the biggest night in fashion of the year.
Priyanka injected a bolt of colour to her casual look by selecting a cobalt blue knitted dress, featuring a turquoise pattern on the hem.
The Citadel star teamed the garment with a black wool coat, matching knee-high boots and a leather handbag.
The Bollywood icon wore her dark locks scraped back into a high bun, while completing her look with hoop earrings and minimal makeup.

Nick opted for a casual look in a tan and chocolate sports jacket, a hoodie, taupe tailored trousers and box fresh white sneakers.
The Met Gala holds a special relevance for the couple, who first sparked romance rumours when they attended the event together back in 2017 after months of dating in secret.
Although they denied claims of a relationship at the time, they went public with their union shortly after the 2018 fundraiser, before getting engaged in July that year during a romantic break to the Greek island of Crete.
The couple married just a few months later, tying the knot in December 2018 in traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India.
Priyanka shed light on her romance with Nick in a revelatory interview with the Today digital magazine last week, revealing he was was her pillar of strength when their daughter Malti, 15 months, was in the NICU for 110 days.
The actress said the Jonas Brothers star gave her strength after their daughter was born prematurely in January 2022 via a surrogate.
She explained: ‘I remember he just held me by my shoulders, and I said, “Just tell me what to do, because I don’t know what to do.”
‘And he’s like, “Just get into the car with me.” And we drove to the hospital. She was born, and from the moment she took her first breath to now, she’s never been without one of us, ever.’

Priyanka opened up on the heart-breaking 110 days little Malti spent in hospital and the day the couple were eventually able to bring her home in May 2022.
She said: ‘I don’t think it was our test. I think it was her test. I realised very, very early that I did not have the luxury to be scared or to be weak, because she was scared and weak.
‘And I had to be her strength as her mom. I needed to make her feel at every given moment that she’s not alone… that we’ve got her.
‘(In the NICU), you know your child is alive, because you can see their heartbeat (on the monitor). I couldn’t sleep for days, because now suddenly she was home without a monitor.
‘I used to put my ear on her chest. I would wake up every couple of minutes just to see if she was OKAY. For weeks, this went on.’
Priyanka went into detail about her ‘generous, gentle and thoughtful’ husband, but admitted she initially didn’t give him a chance because of their 10-year age gap.
She said: ‘My husband is the kindest, most generous, gentle, thoughtful man — and also extremely intelligent and patient. He’s my cheerleader.
‘He gets extremely excited at my wins. He takes off my extensions at the end of the night. He fixes my dress when I walk off stage and makes sure it looks right when I’m on the carpet.
‘He brings me my coffee first thing in the morning. He’s just so even-tempered, can handle anything thrown at him. And also has the ability to be vulnerable with me… I feel safe with my husband. I wish that for everyone.
‘I didn’t give it much of a chance because, I was like, “He’s 25 years old, he’s a rock star. I want to get married, I want to settle down, I want to have a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢. I was 35 at the time.
‘I wanted stability, and I didn’t give Nick enough credit until I went out with him on our first date. We spent the whole evening together, and I realised my husband is just like an old soul. He’s stability in human form.’
The annual ball, hosted by Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour, is the biggest night in fashion, as well as a fundraiser held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.
