CANNES — “Miss Movin’ On” by her brunette self.
Camila Cabello claimed earlier this year that her dramatic hair transition was influenced by prominent musicians.
“Changing my physical appearance, such as my blond hair or fashion — whatever I do, I learned how exciting that is from people like Madonna or David Bowie,” she said onstage at Complex’s exclusive dinner at L’Ecrin Plage during the Cannes Lions in France on Monday.

“I learned how exciting that is from people like Madonna or David Bowie,” she said at Cannes Lions Monday.
The Fifth Harmony alum added, “Always keep it fresh for people.”
The “Señorita” songstress, 27, acknowledged that such a severe change in her look could alienate her “day one fans,” but said she believed they’d stand by her as long as she remains authentic.
“I trust that as long as I’m being me, they know me and love me for me,” she said.

About halfway through her conversation a group of rowdy fans on the beach cheered for the pop star, but Cabello quickly became confused.
“Hello? Was that a seagull?” she asked the crowd. “I thought someone was yelling for me, or was it some kind of animal?”
Cabello performed “I Luv It,” “He Knows” and “Never Be the Same,” all of which she sang acoustically.

She’s had long brunette hair for years.
An insider confirmed at the time the new look was to signify a “new era” in Cabello’s musical career.
“Blonde bombshell pop star era incoming,” one fan tweeted at the time, with another writing that they were “screaming crying throwing up.”
It’s no surprise the singer took her inspiration from the “Material Girl” herself as she once physically bowed down to Madonna during the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
The singer previously gushed over her love for Madonna during the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
“I’ve seen every single music video of yours, I’ve seen every single documentary of yours, and you’ve inspired me so, so much,” she said after the “Material Girl” presented her with an award.
During the show, Madonna gave Cabello the prize for Video of the Year for “Havana.”
“My hands are actually shaking. I’ll never forget this moment. “Madonna, I love you so much,” Cabello said as she came up to deliver her victory speech.
“I’ve seen every single music video and documentary you’ve made, and you’ve influenced me tremendously. As a result, this is a surreal occasion, and I adore you,” she explained.
