When Jason Aldean and his wife go on vacation, they most certainly go big, not home. They recently were in Switzerland on holiday, where Brittany Aldean suffered a pretty devastating finger injury.

Jason Aldean Reacts to His Wife’s Gruesome Finger Injury

The “Let Your Boys Be Country” singer stopped by the Taste of Country Nights With Evan Paul studios just after returning from his vacation, and the first thing I asked him was what exactly happened to Brittany.

Aldean said, “She was walking down some steep stairs one day, she had on these chunky boots, kinda combat boot things, and she kinda lost her balance and she went down the steps a little bit, but her finger — she was holding to the rail, and her finger just snapped back, and it broke her bone in that hand.”

I then asked Aldean what the first thing was that his wife said after the accident happened.

“She just kinda bent over in pain, and she was just like, ‘I’m scared, I’m scared, my pinky is dangling.”

Aldean kind of smirked as he shared his reply.

“I was like, ‘Yeah, I don’t need to see that, let me go get somebody that might be able to help.’ She knew immediately that she had messed it up pretty bad, but, ya know, luckily no surgery or anything like that. Just a little cast for a month and she should be good.”

Aldean and his wife were on a vacation to relax and get ready to hit the road for the Highway Desperado Tour, which is now underway and continues through October of 2024.
