Blake Lively was seen in public for the first time since her father Ernie passed away last month.

On Thursday, the 33-year-old Gossip Girl star was spotted in a denim jacket, shorts and sandals during a rainy day as she picked up take-out food from a high-end restaurant in New York’s Westchester County.

Her father Ernie Lively died from cardiac complications on June 3 at the age of 74.

The Age of Adaline actress wore a blue denim jacket with the tag still attached under her arm as she walked on the rainy day.

Her casual attire also included very short jean shorts that made the most of her toned legs and a pink button-down shirt with a pair of braided straw sandals.

She appeared to go makeup free as her long blonde hair fell in loose waves over her shoulders.

Lively carried a brown paper to-go bag and a camel-colored purse with a long gold chain strap on her outing.

THR.com reported that Ernie’s family announced that he passed away in Los Angeles surrounded by his wife Elaine and his children including Blake, Jason, Eric, Lori and Robyn.

Ernie was an actor for almost 50 years and all of his children followed him into the profession.

He is also survived by his sons-in-law Ryan Reynolds, 44, and Bart, daughter-in-law Lani, sister Judith and nine grandchildren, including Blake’s three children with Ryan.

The Maryland native made his Hollywood debut with a small role in The Waltons in 1975 and went on to enjoy a steady acting career with his final role coming in the independent film Phobic, released last year.

Most notably, he played his famous daughter’s on-screen dad in her film debut The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in 2005.

He reprised the character for the movie’s 2008 sequel.

Ernie was also a respected acting coach as was Elaine, whom he married in 1979, and Blake has credited watching her parents teach with inspiring her own acting career.

Lively’s other big screen credits included small roles in Passenger 57, Turner & Hooch, Showdown In Little Tokyo and Mulholland Falls.

He also made guest appearances in a string of TV shows including Falcon Crest, The X-Files, The Dukes of Hazzard, Seinfeld and The West Wing.
