Anthony Joshua’s management is alleged to be unhappy with Daniel Dubois after saying he neglected to sign up for more drug tests.
Joshua’s camp claims Dubois hasn’t signed up for more testing with VADA.
On Tuesday, the former two-time unified heavyweight champion’s team tweeted: “Evening @Queensberry…” Any updates on why @DynamiteDubois hasn’t joined up for @Vada_Testing yet?
Queensberry Promotions responded to 258 Management, stating that Daniel is enrolled and VADA would confirm.
Joshua will take on Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title in September at Wembley Stadium
Previously, during a joint interview, the two had a heated exchange.
Joshua and Dubois nearly fought during a joint interview prior to their title bout on September 21.
Tensions flared when Dubois informed Joshua that he was more than willing to ‘leave now’ if he ‘wants to swing’.
‘Shut up and relax,’ Joshua replied. I’ll throw this f***ing chair in your face. ‘Do not offend me.’
Dubois tried to stay calm, stating, ‘You can’t scare me; who do you think you are?’
Joshua was thrown out of his seat after making that comment, and the pair had to be separated by security while Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn watched.
‘Daniel, don’t disrespect me or I’ll put this f***ing chair through your face,’ Joshua said.
‘Tell this little boy not to insult me. I don’t take disrespect lightly, you understand. Don’t sit at the table telling me we can leave now, or telling me this and that.
Promoter Frank Warren stated, ‘This was serious. We don’t need any antics to promote this battle.
