Explosive Feud: Frank Warren Blasts Carl Froch for ‘Trying to Stay Relevant’ with Anthony Joshua Drama!

Frank Warren strongly opposes the way Carl Froch is managing his fight with Anthony Joshua.

Joshua and Froch were pals who trained together under Rob McCracken as amateurs and early professionals. Froch was nearing the end of his career.

Froch and Joshua used to be training partners.

Joshua and McCracken have been feuding since their split in 2021.

In a recent video via his Froch On Fighting YouTube channel, ‘The Cobra’ detailed Joshua’s interview: “He was asked, ‘Carl Froch – one word answer.'” So what did he say? He called me a p**k.

“So I went straight back at him like I’d go back at anyone who called me that.”

Froch shared screenshots of their WhatsApp chat and a video AJ gave him.

The former super middleweight champion believes he has only disclosed 10% of Joshua’s communications, which he describes as a ‘barrage of abuse’.

Warren disagrees with Froch’s decision to make private discussions public.

“I don’t like it,” he stated when asked about Froch’s antics on talkSPORT Drive.

“If I have a private argument with you, I don’t think you should show any recordings or texts I send you, and vice versa.

Froch has taken his fallout with AJ public.

Warren thinks Froch is out of order for leaking private messages.

“I think that’s between the two parties. I don’t think Carl should be doing that, but he’s done it.”

The 72-year-old Hall of Fame boxing promoter believes Froch has leaked Joshua’s messages to stay in the limelight.

Warren added: “Carl’s trying to make himself relevant on social media now that his boxing career is over.

“He had a very, very good career, except he kept dodging Joe Calzaghe. Other than that, he had a great career.

“AJ is still fighting, still relevant and he’s on a string of good wins. Let AJ get on with his fight. I don’t know why he wants to keep digging him out.”

Joshua is set to fight Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium on September 21.

The winner will face the winner of Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury II on December 21, potentially for an indisputable rematch.

Froch resigned from boxing in 2014 and went on to become a broadcaster.
