The trailer starts with Billy Butcher in a hospital. He receives a phone call from Hughie, who inquires as to his location, and Butcher requests that he “do us a favor” by saying “The Boys I’m sorry.” The scene cuts to Victoria Neuman, Firecracker, and Homelander. Homelander predicts that “Neuman will be sworn in” and “there will be rioting.” As a result, Homelander stated that “someone will have to swoop in and restore order,” and the trailer ended with a patriotic flash of red, white, and blue confetti over the title card.
