Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter names enormous nine-figure price for Anthony Joshua trilogy fight after Tyson Fury rematch

Oleksandr Usyk will have a lot of options on the table if he beats Tyson Fury again in their rematch.

Usyk is now set to rematch Fury on December 21.

Many fans expect him to retire from boxing after this bout, having achieved all he possibly can in the sport.

However, Usyk has expressed his desire to continue fighting.

If he does indeed keep going, he will need future foes and AJ may well emerge as the top contender to face him once again if he beats Daniel Dubois on September 21 and claims the IBF belt Usyk recently vacated.

This proposition would be unlikely to interest Usyk greatly though, given he’s already beaten Joshua twice.

Therefore, his promoter Alex Krassyuk has named a massive price that his man would have to be paid in order to accept the trilogy.

On Friday, Krassyuk told Boxing King Media: “Well Anthony Joshua was talking about the third fight.

“He’s a great champ and he’s changed a lot since the two fights with Usyk.

“We’ve seen him going down and seen him rising up.

“It’s also a complicated fight to make.

“I’ll tell you why, because now we are on different levels.

“In the first fight, Usyk was almost a no-name and Joshua was a massive star in the UK.

“After he beat him twice, Joshua still remains a massive star here no matter what.

“So this fight might be something that attracts the attention of the entire world.

“If we decide to earn money, then we can probably go for AJ for $200million.”

Krassyuk continued about negotiations: “I’m not talking on anyone’s behalf.

“We are happy if our opponents are happy.

“If they receive some huge amounts that they are satisfied with, for us it makes us more happy.

“We don’t want to get in somebody else’s business.

“If we are happy with what we achieved, then everything else stays out of our sight.”
