NETFLIX’S New Hit: ‘Supacell’ Season 2 OFFICIALLY GREENLIT After STUNNING Debut!

Ver en el primo comentario los detalles del artículo.

It’s official: Supacell, Netflix’s most recent hit show that’s been compared favorably to The Boys on Prime Video, will get a second season on the streaming service.

Netflix made the announcement last week, following the first season’s popular June premiere.

This time, fans of the show will get to see what the show’s characters “become.”

You can watch the trailer for Supacell season one below:

The story of the first season follows five Londoners who obtain special superhero abilities, similar to powers from various famous comic universes such as super speed and teleportation.

Stars of the show include Nadine Mills who plays Sabrina, Doctor Who star Tosin Cole as Michael, Josh Tedeku as Tazer, Eric Abrefa as Andre, and The Rig‘s Calvin Demba as Rodney.

Similar to The BoysSupacell places superheroes in a more realistic environment to tackle real-life subject matter, although this show focuses more on the UK side of things.

Creator of the show, Rapman, said on the announcement of its second season that the story is already complete – with a third season set in sight.

“I’ve always had it [mapped out] to Season 3. I know how Season 2 ends,” Rapman told Tudum.

“I’ve got stuff planned for this story,” he added.

He continued: “I’ve had this in my head for years, so I’m ready to go.”

The creator went on to compare the show’s first season to Batman Begins, in terms of how the story is planned to develop each season.

Supacell Season 1 is my Batman Begins,” Rapman said.

“It’s a prequel of what they’ll be like.”

“Season 2 is when you really see what they become.”

“That future you saw at the end of the pilot in London, that exact future doesn’t exist anymore.”

“They’ve changed everything.”

“It’s going to be interesting when we get into the writers’ room.”
