AJ is on the verge of winning his most important fight ever.
ANTHONY JOSHUA could be denied another opportunity at Oleksandr Usyk, instead being offered a “huge” bout.
AJ lost the united heavyweight world belts to Usyk in September 2021, and he lost the rematch 11 months later in Saudi Arabia.

Usyk, 37, fought Tyson Fury, 36, in May to become the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion.
However, he was compelled to give up the IBF title in order to fight Fury again on December 21 in Riyadh.
Daniel Dubois, 27, was promoted from interim champion and will defend his title against Joshua, 34, at Wembley Stadium on September 21.
If AJ and Fury win, it sets up a huge British grudge battle for all of the belts.
However, Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh intends to make an offer for the match regardless of the individual outcomes.
Alalshikh told talkSPORT: “For the company, it will be a tremendous fight if Joshua wins.
“This is his third world title triumph, and depending on the outcome of Usyk vs Fury, it will be a big fight.
“But you’re not sure about the future. Imagine Tyson wants to retire following his battle with Usyk.
Usyk found Tyson Fury was his toughest opponent
“I will give him the offer, but if he refuses, what can I do? First of all, Dubois has a very big chance and it is not easy.
“I think it is a difficult fight for Joshua and a dangerous fight for Joshua. If Usyk wins, still I want to see Fury vs Joshua if they accept.
“I will not try to do the third fight [between Usyk and Joshua] before having Fury vs Joshua. I think Joshua will win [against Dubois] but you don’t know.
“I picked Deontay Wilder against Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, and he lost. This is boxing, especially the heavyweights.
“But I want to see Fury versus Joshua and the world wants to see Fury versus Joshua.”
