Justin Bieber appeared gaunt and stressed at his fifth wedding anniversary dinner with wife Hailey Bieber, amid the ongoing 𝓈ℯ𝓍 scandal surrounding his former coach Sean “Diddy” Combs.
On Monday night, Justin and Hailey attended Baltaire restaurant in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. However, the atmosphere of the evening seemed quite tense.
Hailey, 27, walked a few steps in front of her husband, seemingly trying to shield him from the paparazzi. She was dressed casually in an oversized beige sweater, jeans and black loafers. Justin, 30, looked cool as he stepped out of the restaurant, wearing dark sunglasses and a baseball cap pulled over his eyes. He wore a baggy black leather jacket, pants and sneakers, hiding his noticeably slimmer figure.
The tense appearance of the Bieber couple comes amid growing rumors of a previously close relationship between Justin and Diddy. Diddy is currently in custody in New York after being arrested on September 16 on charges of coercion and abuse.
Since Diddy’s arrest, more shocking allegations have been made against him, including allegations of abusing a nine-year-old child. Justin’s previously close relationship with the rapper has come under scrutiny, with videos being unearthed showing a 15-year-old Bieber spending “48 hours with Diddy” and partying together.
Although Justin has not spoken out about the incident, fans have expressed concern about his noticeably “skinny” appearance. A source close to him said: “Justin feels like there’s no one he can talk to who understands and, to be honest, he doesn’t even fully understand himself. He’s just a kid.”
The source also said that the incident comes as Justin is trying to be a good father despite not having a good role model in his own father, Jeremy Bieber. “Justin is stressed out right now,” the source continued. “He has a son and is trying to be a good father without having any reference for what a good father is.”
Speaking about the singer’s fragile state of mind, the source added: “He is going through this difficult time alone and everyone is worried that if Hailey has any difficulties with being a first-time mother, it will be extremely difficult for Justin. Diddy’s incident couldn’t have come at a worse time as he is trying to experience the joy of fatherhood with the pain of having to deal with all of this.”
While Justin didn’t mention his anniversary on social media, Hailey posted throwback photos from their 2019 wedding in South Carolina on her Instagram Story. She notably shared a picture of herself wearing a wedding dress designed by the late Virgil Abloh, captioning it: “Happy Birthday V, we miss you! Thank you for creating the most magical wedding dress.”
Justin and Diddy were close when Justin was a child singer. Most recently, Justin featured on Diddy’s song Moment from The Love Album: Off the Grid (2023). However, a source told DailyMail.com that Justin regrets working with the now-disgraced music mogul last year and would never have done so had he known about the allegations that have come to light.
