Tyson Fury Could Walk Away from Anthony Joshua After Devastating Dubois KO Ruins Super-Fight Hopes!

After Daniel Dubois’s knockout of Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight superfight, Tyson Fury explains why he was able to bypass Joshua. Magnificent two-fight agreement with AJ was ruined.

TYSON FURY might focus on a another heavyweight superfight after Anthony Joshua was defeated by knockout by Daniel Dubois. It appeared that the two British superstars had an agreement to play a double header in Saudi Arabia and London the next year.

However, Joshua was brutally defeated by knockout by Dubois, and Fury has not yet fought Oleksandr Usyk again. The Gypsy King is also open to a magnificent trilogy series with Usyk now that AJ appears to be out of the picture for the time being. Prior to the boxing video game Undisputed’s console release, he declared, “I think it’ll be one of the great trilogies, me and Usyk, like Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney going back to those days.”

“They were great fights. And I believe when I beat him again, I’ll definitely do a trilogy with him, 100 per cent. Got to be, one each and then we’ll do a trilogy.”

When Usyk, 37, acquired Fury’s WBC title and undefeated record, he became the first-ever four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion in history. However, in order for their rematch to take place, he had to give up the IBF title that 27-year-old Dubois acquired after being promoted from interim champion.

And in his first defense, he decisively defeated Joshua, 34, to further deride Fury’s ambition to take on AJ. Since then, Joshua has had conversations with Saudi boxing great Turki Alalshikh and promoter Eddie Hearn.

And a rematch with Dubois – eyed for February – is already in the works.

But Fury, 36, does still have his eyes on long-time rival Joshua and next opponent Usyk.

He said: “I look forward to fighting the rabbit again in December and then I’d love to do a trilogy with him after that.

“Joshua, he knows he’s getting it.

“Even if we’re 50 years old he’s got to fight me. There’s no escaping it, he cannot escape me.

“Even if we are 50, we’re still going to sell out Wembley. That is a fact, and anybody they can all get it.”
