Awkward moment Caitlin Clark tries to hide her face as she is recognized at a drive-thru while trying to film a TikTok with her Indiana Fever teammate

WNBA rookie sensation Caitlin Clark was recently spotted at a Swig drive-thru with her Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull, enjoying some not-so-healthy beverages during the offseason.

In a video shared on Hull’s TikTok, Clark attempted to go incognito by wearing a hoodie, but her efforts were in vain as the Swig employee quickly recognized her. When asked, “You’re Caitlin Clark, right?” she playfully replied, “Maybe,” while stifling her laughter from the passenger seat.

The store manager then took over their order and surprised Clark with a golden mug, explaining, “A golden mug means every time you come to Swig, you just get a free refill.” This lighthearted moment highlights the fun side of Clark’s life off the court as she enjoys her time with teammates.

Clark and Hull ordered two drinks each, with the rookie getting a ‘Spring Fling’ drink with vanilla cream and a ‘Beach Wave’. On the other hand, Hull got herself a ‘Raspberry Dream’ and a ‘Summer Splash.’

The teammates then asked the manager for his favorite beverage on the menu, to which he responded ‘Jolly Old Elf’.

Clark gained her notoriety after a successful collegiate career led her to be selected by the Fever as the No 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft.

Once she arrived in Indiana, the scoring and passing ace inspired a spike in the league’s attendance and viewership numbers.

After leading the Fever to their first playoff berth since 2016, Indiana lost to Connecticut

On the court, Clark lived up to the hype as she led the Fever to their first postseason appearance since 2016.

Clark’s scoring ability has translated well from college to the professional ranks. With a 35-point performance in a barnburner win over the Dallas Wings on September 15, Clark broke the WNBA’s rookie scoring record.

She also broke the single-season assist record set by Alyssa Thomas last season, dishing out 337 dimes.

In their season-ending loss to the Connecticut Sun, Clark recorded 25 points, nine assists, and six rebounds to become the first rookie to pull off a 25-5-5 game in the postseason.
