**”Lil Wayne Sparks Rap War Threat After Kendrick Lamar Ignores His Call – Will He Strike Back?”**

In a surprising turn of events, Lil Wayne has hinted at the possibility of a rap war with Kendrick Lamar after the latter allegedly ignored his call. This development comes in the wake of Kendrick’s recent album, “GNX,” in which he referenced Wayne, sparking tension between the two hip-hop icons.

During a recent episode of Joe Budden’s podcast, the host revealed that Lil Wayne attempted to reach out to Kendrick to gauge their “energy” after Kendrick mentioned him in his track “Wasted Out Murals.” However, it appears that Kendrick did not respond to Wayne’s call, prompting the veteran rapper to consider taking action. “If I’m calling you rapper to rapper and you don’t answer, it’s like when [Mark] told [someone] when they had their situation back,” Wayne reportedly said. “Now I’m going in the booth. You have until I get in that booth to hit me back.”

The tension between the two rappers escalated further when Kendrick was announced as the headliner for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, which will take place in Lil Wayne’s hometown of New Orleans. This decision sparked backlash among fans, with many, including Cardi B, expressing their disappointment that Wayne was not chosen instead.

In an emotional Instagram post on September 13, 2024, Lil Wayne shared that the news of not headlining the Super Bowl “hurt a lot” and left him feeling broken. Following Kendrick’s mention of him in “Wasted Out Murals,” Wayne took to social media on November 23, 2024, to seemingly respond. He tweeted, “Man, what the FI do? I just be chilling and they still come for my head. Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep, I beg you all. No one really wants destruction, not even me, but I shall destroy if disturbed.”

Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics in “Wasted Out Murals” contained references to the Super Bowl controversy, stating, “Used to bump The Carter 3, I held my Raleigh chain proud irony. I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down.” Kendrick also alluded to the fact that he was the only artist congratulated by Nas regarding the Super Bowl opportunity, further adding to the competitive atmosphere.

Lamar’s “GNX,” released on November 22, 2024, is his sixth studio album and features contributions from various artists, including Kamasi Washington and SZA. The album has already made waves in the music industry, and with the ongoing drama between Kendrick and Wayne, it seems that the conversation surrounding it will only intensify.

As fans eagerly await what might unfold next, both artists are now at a crossroads. Will Kendrick respond, or will Lil Wayne unleash his lyrical prowess in a potential diss track? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: the hip-hop world is watching closely as this rivalry heats up.
