Actor Dubbed ‘Repeat Offender’ Slammed Again for Inappropriate Behavior in Viral Interview

On March 27, the first episode of the show “Negotiation King” aired, where Kim Won-hoon approached people on the street to conduct a survey about ice cream brand recognition.

During an interview with a couple, Kim Won-hoon asked the man, “Where are you heading?” When the man replied that they were going to Seolleung Station, Kim Won-hoon made a controversial remark: “Isn’t this a motel area? The way you’re walking… you went home yesterday, right?”

After the man replied, “I just came out,” Kim Won-hoon then asked, “Where did you come out from?” and made a gesture pointing at the man’s mouth while saying, “You have lipstick marks,” which sparked outrage.

Viewers quickly criticized Kim’s comments, with many labeling them as “𝓈ℯ𝓍ual harassment” and calling out the inappropriate motel jokes. As a result, the controversy has raised concerns about Kim Won-hoon’s future role on the show and what kind of direction his hosting will take in upcoming episodes.

“Negotiation King” Production Team Apologizes

The production team of “Negotiation King” has issued an apology following controversy over host Kim Won-hoon’s inappropriate remarks toward a civilian, which were accused of being 𝓈ℯ𝓍ually suggestive.

On the March 3, a comment from the producers was posted on the first episode of “Negotiation King” Season 7, stating, “We sincerely apologize to the civilian involved and viewers who may have felt discomfort due to some inappropriate expressions during the first episode’s street interview segment.”

The production team added, “We take your feedback seriously, and the scene in question is currently being edited. Moving forward, we will approach production with greater caution.”

This isn’t the first time Kim Won-hoon has faced criticism for rude remarks. On the variety show “Office Workers,” he asked Hyeri about her past controversial Instagram post, which led to her candid response, “I think you can only say it’s fun when it’s fun, but it’s not fun right now.” In March 2024, Hyeri posted the word “Interesting” following dating rumors between Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee. This sparked public speculation, and Hyeri later apologized for the confusion it caused.
