Previously, late Kim Sae Ron’s family appeared on the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute and claimed that Kim Sae Ron had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun for six years, starting when she was a minor. They also criticized her agency for mishandling her DUI incident. During the broadcast, Garosero Research Institute revealed a photo allegedly showing Kim Soo Hyun at Kim Sae Ron’s home wearing only a T-shirt and underwear while doing the dishes. Although Kim Soo Hyun’s side initially denied the accusations, calling them false, on March 14 his agency changed their stance and released a new statement: “Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were in a relationship from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020, after Kim Sae Ron had reached adulthood. The claim that Kim Soo Hyun dated her when she was a minor is not true.” Despite this clarification, the controversy continues to intensify.
