Country musician Jason Aldean is bringing food to Pittsburgh.
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar will open along North Shore Drive in the city, according to reports from KDKA and WPXI.
The almost 10,000-square-foot restaurant will include a stage for live music, a central dining area, two bars and an outdoor patio. Memorabilia picked by Aldean will also be on display.
The centerpiece of the eatery will be the “Tractor Bar,” featuring a vintage 4020 John Deere Tractor, in homage to Aldean’s song, “Big Green Tractor.”
“I love coming to Pittsburgh and the state of Pennsylvania to perform, some of the best country music fans in the world are in the area,” Aldean said in a news release. “I’m proud to have a permanent destination where fans can stay connected to my music, hear great country music any day of the week, and sit back and enjoy some of my favorite food and drinks. I can’t wait to get up there soon to celebrate with Pittsburgh. It’s going to be a great time.”
TC Restaurant Group, which is opening the restaurant, said that Aldean worked with them to create a menu that features some of the singer’s favorite foods, like “Jason’s Mac and Cheese” and “Grandma’s Pot Roast.”
The restaurant will have a soft opening in the next few weeks, news reports said, with a grand opening event planned for March. It is unclear Aldean will be on hand for that event.
The first Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar is located in Nashville. A second one opened in 2023 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
