While married to Jason Aldean, she went by “Jessica Williams” to reflect his actual surname versus adopting Jessica Aldean.

Before the couple filed a divorce, Ussery and Aldean were extremely close. “We’re best friends,” Aldean once told Nashville Music Scene in 2011. “I don’t even know if you can describe it. I mean, it just doesn’t work without her, you know what I mean?”

Despite efforts to make their relationship work yet again, divorce papers citing “irreconcilable differences ” were filed on April 26, 2013, in Williamson County, Tennessee, by the award-winning country music entertainer.
