Chicago Sky rookies Angel Reese and Kamila Cardoso are now teammates, after competing at the highest level in the collegiate field. Reese played for the LSU Tigers, while Cardoso donned the South Carolina uniform.

There was apparent “beef” between the two after competing in a heated battle in the NCAA, but both of them have been quick to explain that their trash talk lied strictly between the dotted lines and that they share real respect for one another.

“We are a great duo. I’m going to tell you this once and one time only… Social media really be trying to be messy. We played against each other, it’s competition… Outside of basketball, we cool,” said Cardoso, via Courtney2fab on X.
