And Ben Affleck showed that again with the location of a mansion he is renting in Los Angeles‘ swanky Brentwood neighborhood as he is rumored to have separated from his wife Jennifer Lopez.

Aerial photos shot on Tuesday reveal that the 10,000-square-foot mansion that 51-year-old Argo star has taken up residence in over the past few weeks is located just two blocks away from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.

He shares his three children — Violet, 18; Fin, 15; and Samuel, 12 — with Garner, who visited him at the pricey mansion, which costs a staggering $100,000-per-month to rent, just days earlier.

Although the temporary home boasts enough space to house several families comfortably, it’s a downgrade for Ben, who purchased a 38,000-square-foot mansion with his wife J.Lo last year for an eye-popping $60.85 million.

Ben’s current residence is a conservative-looking gray-and-white mansion with a gated driveway and a tall shrub wall against the street.

The rental appears to be situated on a hill, and more houses are located below it on the side of the lot opposite the driveway.

Fans began to suspect that something was amiss with Ben’s marriage to Jennifer Lopez after they went nearly two months without being photographed together, though the time apart was reportedly due to the singer’s busy schedule and Ben’s work filming a sequel to The Accountant.

The two seemed to reunite last week for a school performance that his child Fin was featured in. Though they both displayed grins while arriving at the play, the too looked notably frosty around each other at other times.

Ben has been spotted on recent occasions without his wedding ring, but both wore their rings when they were together.

On Monday, a source told People that the married couple are at odds when it comes to how much attention they court.

‘They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention,’ they claimed. ‘Ben hates all attention and it makes him very uncomfortable. Jennifer has always had a different approach.’

They added that it was just not ‘his way’ to reveal so much of his inner life to the public.

Another source who is reportedly established in the music world said, ‘She needs that expression but Affleck simply is not comfortable with it. After a while it causes tension in the relationship.

‘He is more introspective and private. She likes to open her heart to her fans and to the world. This makes them considerably different, and it has been difficult in the day-to-day relationship,’ they continued.

‘There have always been clashes in their styles, how they handle issues, and their actions, but nothing has stopped their love over the years. This is a great love story,’ the music-industry source added.

Over the weekend, Ben got a visit at his rental home from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
