While it seems like Catherine, Princess of Wales, better known as Kate Middleton, won’t be back in the public eye until 2025, many other royals have been stepping up, like Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and Rose Cholmondeley, Marchioness of Cholmondeley, better known as Rose Hanbury.
In May 2024 alone, Hanbury has been to two major events alongside other royals: she was first at the Badminton House in Gloucestershire, and then again at the dedication of the Order of the British Empire. And at that second appearance, internet users just realized something: Hanbury seemingly wore the exact same hat Kate had worn a couple of times in the past.

As you can see, it seems as though Hanbury is wearing the dark Lock & Co. Tiffany hat, which is a hat Kate has donned twice: during a Commonwealth celebration at Westminster Abbey in 2018, and again in 2021 for the Remembrance Sunday service.
TikTokers like @hrhhuttonalanna and Instagram account @royalfashionpolice originally called this out, saying how odd it is that this has happened; but this isn’t actually the first time something like this has happened with Hanbury and Kate.
In case you need a reminder, Hanbury and Kate were both seen wearing the Aquazurra’s Bow Tie Pumps in black at King Charles III’s coronation (which is one of Meghan Markle’s go-to shoes). You can see the photos below:

So, while this isn’t the first time this has happened, this detail has made fans go a bit berserk.
