It only cost DJ Khaled $26 million to move into his new home.
According to the Wall Street Journal, 42-year-old Khaled (born Khaled Mohamed Khaled) paid $26.9 million for a 13,000-square-foot beachfront home in Miami Beach.
Michael Lerner, the creator of the renowned ‘Baby on Board’ banners from the 1980s, sold the mansion to the rapper, who teamed with Cardi B and Jennifer Lopez on the song Dinero.
Lerner bought the one-acre land for $4.95 million in 2013 and had the house built there.
Lerner had planned to live in the house personally, but he eventually opted to relocate to Palm Beach and put it on the market in 2016.
Nine bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, an 80-foot swimming pool, and an elevator are just a few of the house’s many features.
The property also features a private dock on Indian Creek, a four-bedroom guest house, and a safe room.
Additionally, according to the selling website, the home has a “expansive courtyard, two level gazebo with a full kitchen, bathroom, outdoor shower, and fireplace,” according to the broker working on behalf of the seller, Knight Frank.
The house “embodies a refreshing emphasis on the value of meditation,” according to Cesar Molina, who also designed it. Holly Hunt and Christian Liagre provided the furniture.
The limestone estate also has mahogany windows and doors, as well as Curmaru wood overhangs.
