So it’s not surprising to see Jennifer Lopez taking a page out of her famous friend’s fashion playbook by wearing double denim, bright lip paint, and large aviators.

The actress turned pop star was spotted taking her two children Max and Emme, both six, to her old grade school in New York on Thursday.

The Booty singer wore spray on skinny jeans, tan sky high stilettos, and a button down denim shirt.

Completing her look that was reminiscent of Khloe, JLo pinned her hair up into a messy but 𝓈ℯ𝓍y pile as she sported reflective sunglasses.

She also made sure to visit Kips Bay Boys And Girls Club in the Bronx, where she gave an old friend a big hug.

Her twins were dressed casually for the day, as little Max donned a chequered shirt, cargo trousers, and trainers.

While Emme sported gold high tops, white denim, and a burgundy top as she pinned her hair back into a ponytail.

Camera crews were also on hand during the day, indicating that the appearance may be televised later.

Meanwhile, in July Khloe shared a snap from JLo’s birthday celebrations with the caption: ‘She served it last night!!! Happy birthday @jlo’.

But not everything has been smooth for the dancer lately, as it has been reported that JLo was five hours late to the set of the video shoot for her track Stressin’, which was set to be filmed in two areas, according to the New York Daily News’ Confidenti@l.

‘(Lopez) was supposed to show up at the shoot at the Griffin at 9 a.m. but she didn’t actually arrive until 2 p.m. They were supposed to be at the Bronx location by 5 p.m., and they didn’t make it up there until 9 p.m,’ a source shared of the video, which also features rapper Fat Joe.

As for Jennifer’s personal life, her ex-husband Cris Judd recently opened up about his short-lived marriage to the star from 2001 to 2002, according to Us Weekly.

The 45-year-old dancer and choreographer talked about his life with the singer at the recent 2014 Industry Dance Awards in Hollywood.

‘[Our wedding] was a circus. I think several people got arrested trying to climb up a mountain… trying to sneak in. We actually rented the airspace,’ he recalled of their nuptials.

Cris remarked about learning to cope with the loss of privacy: ‘You kind of have to take it and accept it and embrace it. Once you stop fighting it, it smoothes itself over. If you try to keep that privacy, it drives you nuts and that’s why people break.’
