Wishing Mannara the best for her Bigg Boss 17 journey, Priyanka wrote on her Instagram story: “Throwback to little Mannara Chopra.
“Good luck little one.”
The throwback picture was taken just after the Hollywood actress won the Miss World 2000 pageant.
It shows Priyanka wearing the awarded crown and posing alongside cousin Mannara – who was just nine years old back then.
Mannara is one of the most famous celebrities to have entered the Bigg Boss house this season.
In a recent interview with The Indian Express, she openned up about her stint in the popular reality show.
She said: “I am not doing this to prove myself or something to anyone.
“It seemed like an exciting opportunity, and in a time of social media, doing a reality show felt like the right choice.”
During the interview, the OTT star was asked if her cousin’s fame in Hollywood affected her career in Bollywood.
She quipped: “I have done some major films on various OTT platforms.
“Today, the movie industry is not restricted to Bollywood or Hollywood.
“From my business point of view, I am doing just fine.”
Mannara Chopra made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the movie Zid – co-starring with Karanvir Sharma.
However, her first-ever movie was Prema Geema Jantha Nai, and was released in the Telugu film industry.
Priyanka’s good luck post for Mannara comes days after she was reduced to tears following a drama-fuelled episode that saw contestants turning on her.
Big names like Aishwarya Dutta, Vicky Jain and Isha Malviya were quick to nominate Mannara, sending her to the ‘unsafe zone’.
The vote came as a surprise to Mannara, who was immediately overcome by emotion and broke down live on TV.
