Please refrain from making assumptions about Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift’s relationship.

The “Espresso” singer, 25, appeared in a campaign for Kim Kardashian’s Skims business in April while on a break from singing at the Eras Tour, but the pint-sized pop sensation insists everything is fine with her friend.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the former Disney actress stated that the collaboration with Kardashian did not cause her any issues with her pal. She also stated that she was not aware of any headlines about the partnership.

However, Carpenter told the publication that the partnership with Kardashian didn’t cause any “weirdness” for her.

“As much as people want to believe you’re tuned into every little thing, I’m not because I’m constantly working,” Carpenter said, noting that she even talked to Swift about the ads.

“In that scenario, I’ve been very, very communicative with her about that situation, and I just love her so much and support her till the end,” she concluded.

The hitmaker continued to assure fans that the job didn’t cause any “weirdness” for her, but also didn’t hold back from taking a subtle dig at Internet trolls.

“I know people will just say things because that’s all they have time to do,” she said.

Carpenter’s Skims campaign dropped this past April and featured multiple shots of the star posing in lacy undergarments and cotton basics. The photos were inspired by the nineties, with the blonde chilling in a retro-looking bedroom, chatting on a cordless phone and listening to music on a Discman.

“In that scenario, I’ve been very, very communicative with her about that situation,” she said of Swift. “I just love her so much and support her till the end.”

It’s worth noting that Carpenter isn’t the only friend of Swift’s to give Skims their stamp of approval.

Lana del Rey also appeared in the brand’s Valentine’s Day 2024 campaign, rocking a variety of slips and teddies.

Brittany Mahomes caught tons of flack when she and husband Patrick Mahomes appeared with their children in a family-oriented holiday shoot shortly after striking up a friendship with Swift, who is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, during football season.

Dave Portnoy went off on the WAG, writing, “F—k that traitorous piece of s—t Brittany Mahomes,” adding vomiting emojis over another image from the campaign.

She stuck with the same lingerie-inspired style for her Rolling Stones shoot.

The photos showed her posing in multiple bodysuits, including pieces from Viktor & Rolf and Nina Ricci.

After putting an end to conjecture, Carpenter went on to compliment Swift in the same interview, admitting that she regards the 34-year-old pop diva as “such a different echelon.”

“She always releases music when I didn’t realize I needed those songs,” she stated, sounding like a true Swiftie.

“We’re very open about our mutual love and admiration,” Carpenter ended.
