Jason Aldean Comments on Carrie Underwood’s House Fire

Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood have long been friends, and they have collaborated together on a monster smash hit, “If I Didn’t Love You.” In a new interview, he reacts to news reports of the fire that broke out at her Tennessee home, expressing relief that everyone is okay.

I had the chance to sit down and speak with Aldean on Taste of Country Nights With Evan Paul, and I asked him if he had spoken with Underwood or her husband, Mike Fisher, after their recent house fire at their property outside of Nashville.

The “Let Your Boys Be Country” singer replied, “I haven’t man, I just heard about that yesterday. I haven’t talked to her at all. Mike … I’ve actually seen Mike since I’ve seen Carrie, I need to reach out to him. But I just heard about this yesterday, so I’m glad everybody’s okay, and everybody’s doing good.”

Aldean certainly isn’t late on the news of the fire that broke out in the garage area of Underwood’s home, as it only happened a couple of nights ago.

According to Nashville news station WKRN, the Williamson County Fire Rescue was called to the superstar’s Pinewood Road home Sunday night (June 16) after an off-road UTV parked by the garage caught the garage on fire. Firefighters contained the flames before they could spread to the main house, and Underwood, her family and pets were all unharmed.

I could tell from the look in Aldean’s eyes that he is genuine in caring for Underwood and Fisher’s family and their well-being. It seemed as if there was some urgency in his tone when saying he needed to reach out to Fisher and check in on the country music power couple.

Underwood has since commented on the fire, assuring everyone that she and the family and animals are doing great.

As for Aldean, he is about to finish his Rock the Country tour with Kid Rock, then segue into his Highway Desperado tour mid-summer.

Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight. He plays the best new country music and interviews today’s top stars, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, + more!
