And recently, the duo had entered into a new phase of their lives by embracing parenthood for the first time via surrogacy. For the unversed, on the night of January 22, 2022, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas, had amazed their massive fan base with the announcement of the birth of their first child. On their respective social media handles, Priyanka and Nick had posted a picture message, which had revealed that they had welcomed their 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 via surrogacy. The duo had also requested privacy to celebrate the time with their family.

The new mommy, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, was spotted by the paparazzi while shopping on the street of Los Angeles. She looked gorgeous in a black Global Citizen top and paired it with a deep green jacket, blue denim and a pair of sunglasses. Priyanka was seen also carrying a tote bag with her while shopping.

As soon as the pictures were uploaded by the fan page, Pee Cee was trolled, for gaining weight. One of the users commented, “Moti ho gyi,” another user wrote, “Yo to Ghani mooti ho gai,” while another user mentioned, “Wow fatty pc.” But many of her fans also dropped comments and supported her like, “Gorgeous PC”. The pictures had also arisen curiosity in the netizen’s minds and many of them also started questioning about her child. One user wrote, “Where’s da child.” Replying to this comment, a few of her fans took a stand for her. One of her fans commented: “At home maybe. With the 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢’s father. Both the parents can share responsibilities and the mother can take a break once in a while. Is it too tough to understand or do you accompany you mom everywhere?”

On February 24, 2022, taking to her IG handle, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had shared a photo dump with a series of pictures. In the photo dump, she had shared pictures of her, caviar fries, her pets, a photo with her husband, Nick Jonas and a glimpse of her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢’s nursery with lots of teddy bears and an idol of Lord Krishna. Sharing the photo, Priyanka had written: “Photo dump.”

According to a report in the Daily Mail, a source close to the couple had revealed that Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had wanted to have a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 together for quite some time. However, their schedules had hampered their family planning. The source had added that owing to their busy schedule, the couple had explored other options. Nick and Priyanka were connected with a woman in Southern California by an agency, and they had believed her to be a good match. The source was quoted as saying:

“Priyanka doesn’t have any fertility issues preventing her from having a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢, but she is 39 now, so it’s not getting any easier. Their busy work schedules also mean that it’s difficult for them to physically be together to conceive when she is ovulating, so some time ago they went down the surrogacy route. This is the woman’s fifth surrogacy. They met her and really liked her.”
