Priyanka Chopra REACTS to a koala in Australia being named after her; shares aww-dorable glimpses from recent zoo visit

Priyanka Chopra – who is currently busy shooting her next Hollywood film, The Bluff in Australia, is one of the most loved actresses across the globe. The actress – who is touring Australia as she sheds her sweat and blood on users, recently visited the homestead Paradise Country at Gold Coast. Priyanka Chopra on a koala being named after her

This morning, Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram handle and shared a bunch of pictures and videos from her recent trip to the Paradise Country at Gold Coast. In the carousel’s first video, the ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ actress is seen looking at an 8-month-old 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 koala. The official accompanying Priyanka and her friends then discloses that the koala’s name is Priyanka, a namesake of the actress. Hearing this, the actress replies, “Are you serious?” The actress is then seen posing with the koala for a picture. She also shared a picture, pointing at the koala named after her.

Some of the other pictures shared see Priyanka – dressed in a dark grey t-shirt, light grey slackers, and a grey jacket, posing with a meerkat standing on her head as she laughs, videos of a kangaroo, a Tasmanian devil, and with a dingo. The actress completed her look with a black cap, her hair tied behind her head, and dark sunglasses.

She captioned the post, “A 8 month old koala joey named after me!! So sweet.. thank you @paradisecountrygc for the lovely surprise and for introducing us to the most amazing wildlife. Meerkats, koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and Dingo’s! Thank you for all the work you’re doing for wildlife conservation in Australia as well. Magical Sunday afternoon.” Singer-actor Nick Jonas commented, “You’re cute. (Heart eyes emoji).”
