Antony Starr’s Masterful Performance: The Boys Season 4 Scene That Proves He Deserves the Emmy!

Antony Starr’s great performance in The Boys deserves to be studied, as fans ask where his Emmy is. Antony Starr of Homelander deserves an Emmy consideration for creating one of the best villains in pop culture history. His subtle acting choices in Homelander have elevated the character to the same level as Vader and Hannibal Lecter. Season 5 of The Boys has a lot to wrap up, but Season 2 of Gen V could help round out the ending.

One of the greatest villains to come out of modern television is Antony Starr’s Homelander on The Boys. The character is one of the most popular twists on Superman, one that fans have rallied behind thanks to Starr’s amazing performance.

Reddit has highlighted one sequence from Season 4 of The Boys that demonstrates Antony Starr’s brilliance as an actor and why his Emmy nomination should be more forthcoming than it currently is.

Antony Starr has earned a great deal of praise for his work in The Boys. Following impressive performances by Karl Urban and Giancarlo Esposito, the actor has established himself as the standard for villainy on television. Despite competing with shows such as House of the Dragon and Invincible, The Boys has managed to carve out a big and durable niche for itself, which is heavily influenced by Homelander.

It’s a small thing but still

There seems to be a lot of potent support for an Emmy campaign for Antony Starr. The actor has become a pop cultural icon, almost at the level of Darth Vader or Hannibal Lecter. The actor is heading toward his final season, and if the comics are anything to go by, the actor might be in for a hell of a ride.

The Boys Season 5 has a lot to resolve but could manage with Gen V Season 2

Season 5 of The Boys has a lot to do in a very short amount of time. As the climax for the show has been set up, there are other spin-offs that can help supplement the upcoming installments of the show. Gen V Season 2 could help pick up some storylines, such as the one around Billy Butchder before the show opens for its final season.

While the main cast of the show would be indisposed, Annie January and Billie Butcher could be recurring characters in Gen V, using the children at God U to liberate their friends who are stuck behind bars, under the orders of Homelander. The show could also potentially feature Ryan, who might find himself at the university after being estranged from Billy and Homelander as well.
