On her 39rd birthday last month, Russell Wilson surprised her with roses backstage at the Bruno Mars concert in Los Angeles.

And on Thursday, Ciara returned the favor by gushing about her husband on Instagram, calling him her ‘greatest inspiration.’

The singer shared three photos of the NFL pro with their one-year-old daughter Sienna and her son Future, four, whom she shares with her rapper ex.

In posting them to Instagram, she added a heartfelt tribute to the Seattle Seahawks QB whom she wed in 2016.

‘While it may not aesthetically be the best photos of us. To me, It’s the best photos of YOU!’ she wrote. ‘ The best Husband, my Best Friend, and Father. Consistent. Dedicated. Committed, Passionate. That’s who you are and have always been.’

She went on: ‘I’m a better Woman because of you, and I can’t wait to see that #30 has in store for you! #HappyBirthday my love and greatest inspiration @DangeRussWilson.’

The Texan beauty started dating Wilson in early 2015 and they tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at an English castle on July 6, 2016.

They welcomed their daughter in April 2017.

Before that, Ciara had been engaged to the rapper Future, giving birth to their son in May 2014. They ended their engagement in August 2014.

On October 24, the eve of her 33rd birthday, Wilson surprised his wife with red roses  as she came off stage in Los Angeles after performing as part of the Bruno Mars tour.

She wrote afterwards on social media: ‘When bae surprises you after you get off the stage…you jump on him. Lovin is ALL I wanted and he gave it to me.’

In a Twitter tribute, Wilson declared: ‘My Love…every day you bring love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and so much faith to our family.’

‘Today is just another special day that we get to celebrate having you in our lives. Happy Birthday Baby. You just keep getting younger. I Love You.’
