Joshua and Dubois Rematch to Take Center Stage on Mega Card! Date Rumors Leave Fans Buzzing!

HE Early in 2025, Turki Alalshikh has big plans for a card that might include a rematch between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

A rematch between Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions is now being planned for February of next year by Riyadh Season.

A rematch between Joshua and Dubois is being considered for February 2025.

In June Queensberry ran a 5-0 rout of Matchroom.

However, Hearn might have the chance to get even in three months.

Hearn remarked in an interview with talkSPORT.com, “We’ve been in conversations about that (with HE Alalshikh) this week.”

“We know that the 5 vs 5 concept was commercially incredibly successful and obviously, I wanna run it back for various reasons.

“So I think that’s inevitable for early next year in London or Riyadh.

“But there have been talks to look at the potential for that early next year in Riyadh.

“And both myself and Frank would love to build an even bigger card with His Excellency for that concept.”

Warren inflicted further misery on Hearn and Co. in September when Dubois scored a shock knockout win over Joshua at Wembley Stadium.

A rematch is currently being explored and Hearn said it could headline on the next 5 vs 5 event.

“Possibly, yeah,” he replied when the question was posed to him.

Dubois vs Joshua could headline a second Matchroom vs Queensberry event.

“I mean, nothing confirmed, but that would obviously make sense with the main event.”

Hearn recently revealed that Joshua and Matchroom are ‘leaning towards an immediate rematch’ with Dubois.

Providing an update on their stance, he continued: “I think that we’ve had our time now, almost. It’s coming up to a month.

“So the main things for AJ were obviously to reflect, to physically get checked over, to look at the date of February, which is the proposed show and seeing if he’d be ready physically for that date.

“But more importantly, if that was the right fight to take, and I think time helps make that decision a little bit.

“The immediate reaction in the aftermath is sometimes very different after reflection.

“Anthony will make the decision 100 per cent himself, but with the input of me, 258, Ben Davison, and all of his team. But he will be the one that makes the ultimate decision.”
