Beyond his successful country music career, Luke Bryan is also a dedicated family man. He and his wife, Caroline Bryan (née Boyer), are parents to two children, Thomas “Bo” and Tatum “Tate,” as well as three bonus children: Luke’s nieces and nephew, Jordan, Kris, and Tilden.
Who Is Caroline Bryan?
Luke and Caroline have been married since December 2006, having met at Georgia Southern University in 1998. Luke recalls their first meeting at a bar called Dingus Magee’s in Statesboro, Georgia. After dating in college, they broke up for several years before reconnecting in Nashville.
Their relationship reignited when Luke was performing at a bar in Statesboro, and Caroline invited him to her family’s Christmas party. Luke proposed in front of the Nashville Parthenon, and they married in Turks and Caicos, spending their honeymoon in the Colorado mountains.

Luke and Caroline welcomed their first child, Thomas Boyer, known as “Bo,” on March 18, 2008, followed by their second son, Tatum Christopher, or “Tate,” on August 11, 2010. Following the tragic passing of Luke’s brother-in-law, Ben, in 2014, they became bonus parents to Jordan, Kris, and Tilden. Luke and Caroline legally adopted Tilden, who was just 12 at the time.
Caroline remarked on their decision to take in the children, saying, “We never thought twice about it.” Luke has praised how well his children have adjusted, noting that Bo, initially the “alpha male,” adapted to being a middle child with maturity.
Family Milestones
In September 2021, Luke walked Jordan down the aisle at her wedding to Clint Eudy in Nashville, an emotional moment he described as one of the most special experiences of his life. He emphasized the importance of family, stating, “I’m just wired to want the best for everybody.”
